Neil Peach: Transforming Business with Trust-Based Leadership

When entrepreneurs drive the wheel in the right place and at the right time, they do business with innovation and resilience. From incorporating a value-based work culture to building confidence in the workforce, business leaders deliver results for the organization. Such a visionary leader said Neil Peach, Who established Virtuezone To facilitate company setups in Dubai and UAE with a vision to transform business through visionary leadership skills.
As his entrepreneurial journey began, Neil faced multiple challenges, turning every obstacle into a business opportunity. He started a radio station, newspaper and publishing company called ITP which grew to 70 magazines and 600 people early in his career. Neil realizes that the potential of media can be profitable in running any business. According to Neil, one can be an expert in a given skill or an extraordinary workflow, but multiple factors work, including the ability to “market people”.
Overcoming the challenge
Inspired by his best friend’s experience of setting up an outdoor advertising agency in Dubai, Neil realized the need to provide quasi-government services to entrepreneurs wishing to set up businesses in Dubai and the UAE.
Neil shares, “He wanted to set up an outdoor advertising company but faced many obstacles along the way. He couldn’t get a hotdesk, and contacting the free zone he wanted to set up was challenging. That’s when he realized that there is an opportunity in this market and he shared this idea with me
They established Vertuzone with a universal name that people could easily associate with. He said “At the time, we were competing against Umm al-Quwain, Ras al-Khaimah, and Fujairah, the names of which are somewhat foreign to non-Arab speakers. We wanted to be intentionally accessible and modern. “
While in Dubai, Neil noticed that most business decision makers were based in Europe. Informing people about business opportunities through remote communication was challenging. Another challenge was to form his team. He said, “You need someone in your team who says that ‘Yes, we can!’ And 100% believe it’s possible, but you also need someone who cares about impact and impact“
In Virtuzone, Neil assists businesses with company setups in Dubai and the UAE, while the UAE Free Zone and mainland companies take care of all the red tape involved in the setup process.
Having been in business for 13 years, Virtuzone was able to compete in the market and maintain a strong position due to its three essential pillars- brilliant process, excellent customer service, and excellent marketing. Talking about the company’s philosophy, Neel notes, “What we seek as an entrepreneur is an ambitious person. If we don’t fit in with ourselves, we won’t understand them. I would like to think that Virtuzone has created an image of our customers.“
In the mission to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit
Neil is committed to enabling entrepreneurs to conduct their business safely, efficiently and in a conducive environment for success. She wears, “When you look at the earth in space, you do not see the boundaries. You don’t see a point where you have to give your passport, and that’s what we want to achieve. Yet at the very center of that world, we believe that the UAE has the potential to become the world’s startup capital.“
Neil understands that entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of the global economy, and Virtuzone’s job is to ensure that any entrepreneur will have an effortless experience setting up their business. With about 60 different jurisdictions that can be used in the UAE, it has advantages and disadvantages. He insisted “It’s up to the entrepreneurs to hold hands, save their time and money, and make sure they get it right the first time because there’s nothing worse than starting the journey, going the wrong way and doing something.” U-turn after six months.
Neil emphasizes resolving challenges and providing a safe path for businesses willing to set up a company in Dubai.
Imagine the future
Neil imagines scouting for the obstacles faced by entrepreneurs and working to alleviate them. “You want to make it as easy as possible for people to set up, live in the country and have a functioning organization. Which means they need a bank account. They need a telephone. They need a business address. It’s not just about licensing them. This ensures that they can manage their business“Neil reveals. Although businesses grow with less barriers and higher efficiency, the Neil company is making a significant impact in simplifying the setup.
Virtuzone has started investing in selected startups like Hot Desk. It has joined BY Venture Partners’ USD 50 million Venture Capital Fund to support early-stage technology startups in the MENA region and worldwide.
Speaking about the company’s future goals, Neil Mark said: “We want Virtuzone to be synonymous with entrepreneurial and startup success. You may have heard that the UAE is poised to become home to 20 unicorns in the next decade. As we have always sought to align our goals with the government’s vision, we want to enable and nurture these startups and their founders and help them achieve regional and global success.“
Create an effect
Leading the business transformation through company setup support services, Neil works with 400 to 500 companies per month.
He noted, “Virtuzone catalyst only. We make it easy for anyone in London or Canada to run their global business from Dubai. I want to make it a champion, and I want to go there, to the rest of the world, and tell them why they should be here. ”
Influential leadership
Neil focuses on trust-based leadership with a business catalyst approach. He noted that one of the things that influences leadership is trust. Over the years, Neil has continued to invest in the professional and personal well-being of his people.
He noted that during Covid’s time, the company probably had to take care of 110 people, including 90 families. Each of the 110 staff members saw this as a common challenge, rather than being forced to the opposite end of the room like managers and employees. That’s when Neil found out that he had paid for the investment he had made to win everyone’s trust.
When it comes to team building, Neil recommends hiring strong people in places you don’t. He added, “One of the things about leadership is to be confident and not to feel threatened. If you find a colleague who does well and your first thought is that you are happy for them, I would say it is a good sign that you can go on to bigger and better things in the future. “
Doing business with a positive work ethic
Neil has focused on building trust among his employees as a team-building effort and hopes that his employees will push themselves out of their comfort zone. She wears, “We’ve come to a point where we can tell our staff, ‘We want you to make mistakes.’ If you don’t make mistakes, you’re not pushing yourself hard enough.“
With a commitment to innovation practice, Neil feels fortunate to have thousands of supportive clients that enable him to push the envelope. He believes that automating the process to help make things happen faster, driving smaller margins to do bigger business.
Accelerate with technology
The workflow of automated companies from epidemics has become an essential factor. Neil tries to anticipate the challenges of his clients and develops relevant solutions accordingly Face-to-face meetings were limited during the epidemic, he partnered with trusted service providers who helped him facilitate remote company setup for his clients. Neil can even help his clients start the process of opening their bank account online.
Talking about technological advances in enriching services, Neil said, “We always review and verify our internal processes, adopt the latest software and systems, and continually enhance our efficiency and the quality of our customer service. The better and faster we can serve our customers, the more we will make the entrepreneur accessible“
A step towards compassion
Neil advises emerging entrepreneurs, whether they are 18 or 60 years old, it is never too late and it is never too early. He said, “First things first, the best financial decision you can make is to jump into something unprepared. Do your research, talk to your network. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your family and friends. Tell them the truth; Ask them to play the devil’s advocate for your idea. “
“If you do that research, the things it is going to show you are the benefits of starting a company in Dubai. And when you finally jump in, make sure an organization like Virtuzone can guide you through and help you.“
“If you’re an entrepreneur, you’ll be looking at your phone at 3:00 in the morning. So do something you love. Focus on what makes you better. And as I say, you look at hiring colleagues in areas that are weak.
“Finally, to get out of what we have been taught forever. Re-evaluate the rules. Find out what works for you and what you can rethink and innovate. ” Neil finishes.
