Globe Group’s BRAD aims to expand nationwide

BRAD, the Ayala-led telecommunications group’s on-demand logistics solutions firm, aims to cover areas outside of Luzon this year.

“Brad Metro spent the first quarter of the year covering Manila and the surrounding provinces. In the second quarter, it plans to expand to the rest of Luzon in the second half of 2022 and then to Visayas and Mindanao, “Globe Telecom, Inc. said in an e-mail statement.

BRAD is a shared service provider under Globe’s wholly owned subsidiary Asticom Technology, Inc.

“Currently, the company has more than 30 traders in its portfolio and more than 150 riders in different areas,” Globe noted.

The agency says options for on-demand logistics solutions are limited in the provinces.

“We are focusing our efforts on expanding the channels we currently have to serve SMEs (small and medium enterprises), especially indigenous businesses and communities.”

Asticom Technology wants to go public in five years.
